A new lightweight, breathable mesh upper, a new tyre tread-inspired sole, a silky moisture wicking lining made with "37.5" material, protected tension straps… put all of that together for your new favourite road running, gym and fitness shoe, the HFS.
Well, it could be for the "Highly Flexible Sole" that lets your foot move naturally, or the face you’ll make when you put it on - "Happy Face Shoe" - or way you run it it with a "High Frequency Stride", or what you exclaim when you put it on and feel the comfort and light weight: "Holy ___ ___!"
There are as many possible answers as there are things you’ll do in the HFS.
Why you’ll love the HFS
Natural FIT - A wide toe box lets your toes spread, splay, relax, and function naturally.
Natural MOTION - The HFS is flexible enough to let your feet bend, move, and flex the way, well, that feet are supposed to. The "XERO-drop" design (non-elevated heel) allows for proper posture, and it’s built low to the ground for balance and agility.
Natural FEEL - The HFS has a 5.5mm FeelTrue rubber sole to give you the right combination of protection plus ground feedback, so your brain knows how to move your body optimally. Also, you can remove the 2mm insole, for a closer-to-barefoot experience that lets you Feel The World.
Light weight - So light, you could forget you have them on. A US men’s 9 is about 200g (each).
Huarache-inspired design - The adjustable instep and midfoot straps are not just eye-catching but functional, giving you a secure and comfortable fit.
Vegan-friendly materials - No animal products are used in the HFS.
Sizing for a shoe is different than a sandal. And you probably have shoes of different sizes that fit you correctly. Also since the foot is three-dimensional, any two-dimensional measuring tool (such as a ruler or Brannock device) can only approximate your true shoe size. Manufacturers model their shoes on different foot shapes, so sizing may vary accordingly. To help reduce the chance of getting an incorrect size, we HIGHLY recommend you follow these instructions.
Step 1 - Measure your foot
- Place a piece of paper against a wall (if you have VERY large feet, use a piece of newspaper).
- Place your foot on the paper, with your heel against the wall.
- Make a mark on the paper at the furthest point away from the wall… this will either be just in front of your big toe or second toe.
- Take a ruler and measure from the edge of the paper to the mark you made.
Here’s a video showing the process...
Step 2 - Check your measurement against the sizing chart
NOTE... - For the most reliable fit, we recommend you use the foot length sizing info in the table below. - The HFS is about half a size (4mm) smaller than the Prio. - If you think you’re "between sizes" we recommend you go up to the larger size. - Our sizing recommendations are based on customer feedback, however we cannot 100% guarantee a proper fit.
