Sizing completely wrong

I attempted to get the right size twice following advice from customer services, still completely wrong so gave up. When trying to do exchange have to pay upfront for the next pair, and refunds seem very slow to come. Overall not impressed with the service.

Toe box

These are lovely shoes however it seems that they are a little smaller. This could be because the toe box upper material is quite stiff so I was unable to wear this. If this was a little more flexible they would be brilliant as I am a fan of the design.

Not for me

I own the HFS Xero shoe which I’ve enjoyed but wanted something more suitable for cold and wet weather. Unfortunately the Mesa trail was far too stiff for me, hurting my foot so returned. Did not try a different size as you have to place another order.

Wanted to like this shoe more!

I have had a pair of xero sandals for over two years which I really like and I decided to buy the Mesa WP recently to use as walking shoes. Sadly, despite sizing up by two sizes, they still feel a little bit tight and generally the shoe feels hard and stiff. I’m hoping they will ease with wear. Their performance as waterproof footwear has yet to be tested.

SOOOO COMFY

I put them on at 9 a.m and went for a walk mainly on footpaths, later I had to go shopping and didn't get home until 4 p.m. That's 7 hrs of comfort in brand new shoes! No rubbing on little toes, no rough patches or under-skin blisters on the side of my big toes. No aching feet at all. And because they are such a good fit - no slipping - I didn't have to pad them out with thick socks which used to cause overheating and red patches around my ankles. Only fine rain and a few paths through wet grass, so cannot guarantee they are waterproof, but my feet stayed dry. Win, win, win.
