To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Live these shoes

It has taken a while to get used to, but now I don’t want to wear anything else. The waterproofs are apparently not as flexible as the normal ones, but after a week I would say they are very flexible

Brilliant pair of shoes

Been on a few 5k runs with them through hard surfaces, and trails with gravel and mud.. amazing pair of running shoes.. very happy with the purchase

Great show, poor durability

Had my Xero Mesa Trail II shoes for 2 months now and had I written a review in the first couple of weeks of ownership, it would have been a rave review like most of the others. However, 2 months in, whilst I still love how the shoes feel on my feet and I enjoy running in them, I'm disappointed with the durability. After 2 months and less than 200km of trail running, the uppers are starting to split on both shoes and some of the trim is starting to separate from the shoe; I doubt they will last much longer. Really quite frustrating as I bought them in the hope the 5000 mile sole warranty would mean these shoes last a very long time and would help me reduce the environmental impact of my running. In reality, it looks like they will last far less time than the Salomon's I would normally buy, despite costing slightly more. I do think Xero should make their warranty details clearer on the product page. You are not getting a 5,000 mile sole warranty, you are getting a discount off a new pair if the sole wears in two very specific places, excluding the edges (where pretty much every shoe I've had wears out first). There appears to be no guarantee that any other part of the shoe will last and at the moment, for me, it's looking like these shoes will end up having the shortest lifespan of any I have owned by quite a margin ☹️

Great barefoot trail shoe

These feel great on my feet and are much lighter than other brands. The lace up system really locks the shoe to my foot while allowing plenty of room for my toes to spread. I have found the grip to be good on trails and in mud, with low profile lugs. Overall I have been very happy with my purchase. Let’s see after 500 miles.
