To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Dem Ridgeway Chelsea boots are made for walking

Really nice boots first ever of this style for me. Chelsea boots who knew they are so comfy and cool. Seriously good.

great shoe, sizing is difficult

I love the Xero Chelsea boot, however, I haven't really used them yet. It says on the website that they are true to size so I ordered my size in the women's shoe and they were tiny. The next size up were also a little snug, and I found the page on the website with the actual foot measurements on, and advice to try the men's if you want a wider fit. So I ordered the next size up in the men's and they were too big on me, they looked like a workboot, so back they went again. The 7.5 and 8 were out of stock so I ordered the Ridgeways in 7.5 and they fit perfectly. The returns process is free and I appreciate the customer service, I'm a UK6 and now I know that if the website says 'true to size', for me that means go up a size and a half! I'm looking forward to trying the Chelsea boot in the women's 7.5 when the stock is available.

Not the fit I was after

The size seemed to come up small, I ordered a UK 12 but whilst it just about fit the toe box was cramped (which I am not really used to with wearing barefoot shoes) and my toes felt like they were cramped in the vertical dimension too. The other issue, although I am sure it would change with wear, is how stiff the leather was. They look well made, but on reflection they are not quite what I am after.
