To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Comfortable and warm but traction and waterproofing are underwhelming

I’ve owned these boots for just over a year. They are probably the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. No pressure points anywhere on my foot and they are warm with the heat reflective insole. They are not perfect though. Firstly, the grip leaves a lot to be desired and I’ve found they struggle with a moderately wet avent, let alone snow and slush. For a winter boot this is disappointing. Secondly, the waterproofing could be better. From the first time I wore them in the rain the leather wetted out fairly quickly. Things improved after re-treating with NikWax. Lastly, and it’s a minor point, but the laces seem excessively long. So from a comfort perspective it’s spot on but lack of grip and waterproofing mean it doesn’t hit the mark for a winter boot.

Great show - great customer service

I bought the Denver as a smart/functional boot I can wear to work and walk the dog with. Really comfortable and sturdy. I had an issue with the first pair I got. After contacting customer services I quickly received a replacement pair. If you are looking for a smart boot full of utility, this is the boot for you!

Sooo Comfy!

I’ve been wearing Xero shoes before it was possible to purchase them directly from the UK, the quality and durability have never faltered! These boots are so comfy, and fit so well! I’ve tried them in the ubiquitous rain of N. Wales yet, but looking forward to that test. I just hope that Xero doesn’t start making these boots with a toe spring like they’ve done with some of their other products! Toe springs have been proven to increase risk of injury: https://www.theguardian.com/science/2020/sep/17/shoes-with-toe-spring-may-increase-risk-of-injury-study-finds
