Most summer hikes don’t need a big, heavy, technical hiking boot.

And most hiking boots don’t let your foot bend, move, flex and feel the world… until the DayLite Hiker.

Perfect for day hikes and casual wear, the DayLite Hiker is built with our foot-first design and natural movement philosophy.

Note that the DayLite Hiker is NOT a fully waterproof boot.

Why you’ll love the DayLite Hiker

Natural FIT - a wide, anatomically correct toe boxes let your toes spread and relax, plus a non-elevated, "zero-drop" heel for proper posture.

Natural MOTION - your feet are supposed to bend and flex and move. The DayLite Hiker is super flexible to let them do that. The low-to-the-ground design is perfect for balance and agility.

Natural FEEL - your feet are supposed to FEEL the world. The patented FeelTrue soles give you just-right protection while also giving you the ground feedback that your brain and body want.

Lightweight - you don’t want your footwear to weigh you down.

More reasons you’ll love the DayLite Hiker

Great protection - a ballistic mesh upper with Tough Tech toe bumper.

Huarache inspired design - the heel strap is not only eye-catching but functional.

Thin and flexible sole 6mm FeelTrue sole - with dual-chevron tread for great grip.

Adjustable instep straps - for perfect tension.

Optional 2mm insole - can be removed if you want a "more barefoot" feeling.

Vegan friendly materials - no animal products in the DayLite Hiker.

How to pick the correct size

Sizing for a boot is different than a sandal. And you probably have boots / shoes of different sizes that fit you correctly. Also, the DayLite Hiker runs small and you may need to choose a size larger than your usual size.

  1. Excellent Review by Tony

Excellent quality and feel, a bit too stiff for some around the ankle maybe, but so light and yet warm in winter, and rather cool in summer (the Prio are obviously even cooler). Feels durable as well. The laces are the only weak spot, already damaged after 4 months of wearing them; another month and they'll break. I expect the shoes to last very long though and I cannot go back to "normal" shoes. (Posted on 02/02/2019)
